Lurie Children’s Specialties & Condition International Travel Immunizations Program
International Travel Immunizations Program
Our International Travel Immunizations Program is one of the few in the Chicago area that offers comprehensive, specialized pediatric travel health services. Led by Tina Tan, MD , and Ben Katz, MD,the program provides appropriate immunizations for many communicable diseases, following the guidelines developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We offer vaccinations for many diseases usually not seen in the United States, such as yellow fever or typhoid fever.
We also counsel families on preventative medicines, hygiene and dietary precautions. Our recommendations vary depending on your destination. To learn more, visit the CDC. You can also call us at 312.227.4080 .
